The owner Alfonsas Staponkus is a poet who has published several poetry books. The owners organize educational events, meetings, and musical events with famous people from the Palanga region. One of the oldest villas is built in 1870 by the Tyszkiewicz family. In 1897, Count Tyszkiewicz built magnificent palaces near the Baltic Sea, now housing a museum. The building's project was designed by Franz Heinrich Schwechten (1841–1924), a German architect living in Berlin. The park was designed by French landscape architect Edouard François André (1840–1911). The palace is located in the sacred Palanga Birutė Forest, home to a beautiful botanical park.
